Another day and another leak surrounding Google’s upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. This time, the leak is that of a wireless charging accessory: the Pixel Stand. Considering it’s a wireless charging stand, that would all but confirm wireless charging will be a feature of Google’s upcoming flagship Android devices.

In addition, according to previous leaks, the Pixel Stand will turn the Pixel 3 or 3 XL into a Smart Display. When placed on the stand, the smartphones will have a custom UI with larger buttons, shortcuts, and easy access to Google Assistant. Rumour has it that the notifications will get a different UI when the phones are used in conjunction with the stand.
Google is set to unveil their latest Pixel smartphones on October 9th in New York. At this point in time, however, it’s looking more likely to be a confirmation of everything leaked to date than an unveiling of something no one knows anything about. That being said, there’s still the possibility of some other Google devices being updated or unveiled at that event as well.
