Halo: Outpost Discovery is every Halo fan’s dream

Halo, one of the biggest Xbox games created to date, has had its fair share of spin-off games, prequels, sequels, movies, and so on and is still going hard to this day. The one thing that hasn’t been created was a theme park where can really experience Halo as a whole letting you see a Warthog in person, play laser tag with recruits, and more – until now.

Halo: Outpost Discovery is a 300,000 square foot, traveling amusement park that will be making stops in five major cities for one weekend each. The theme park will let each and every guest see a real-life Halo Ring and Warthog, battle fellow recruits in an epic laser tag arena, experience thrilling in-universe encounters with the latest simulation and VR technologies, and much more.

The cities that the tour will be arriving in are as follows:

  • Orlando, FL: July 5-7
  • Philadelphia, PA: July 19-21
  • Chicago, IL: August 2-4
  • Houston, TX: August 14-18
  • Anaheim, CA: August 30-September 1st

If you do plan on attending the event, you can also meet the creators of the game and special guests, learn how the Halo universe was made, stop by themed panels, and build a cosplay costume, among other things. This is all thanks to Herschend Live, one of the world’s leading and renowned attraction and experience creators who have partnered with the likes of the Harlem Globetrotters and Dollywood.

More information will be shared with interested fans in the coming months but so far it already seems like it’s going to be a fun experience for everyone. Even though the event is only going to be in five major cities across the States for a weekend it’ll still be a really awesome experience for anyone to see.
