The company says the new Galaxy Tab S5e is slim, light, and packed with smart features. The tablet does feature Android Pie 9.0 out of the box, so that’s something of consequence.

The Galaxy Tab S5e has a sleek 5.5mm metal body and weighs in at 400 grams. Samsung is offering it up in three colors, Silver, Black, and Gold. Samsung says the battery-life on the Tab S5e should last users up to 14.5-hours.
The Tab S5e is also the first tablet to get Samsung’s AI assistant, Bixby. That may be a welcome addition for some and a nightmare for others. Bixby is great if you’re already a Samsung SmartThings user. Bixby will give you a central place to interact with your other smart devices. So you can switch on lights, TVs, and other IoT devices from your tablet.
