FloLogic CONNECT is the latest option in smart leak detection systems

|

Protecting your home from fire and flood is probably something everyone would like to do because no one wants either of those to happen to them. There are a slew of products on the market designed to give warnings about fire and water leaks but most of those aren’t going to prevent damage. Recently, smart leak detection systems have become more popular due to their ability to give an early warning of leaks or problems. The FloLogic CONNECT is the latest smart leak detection system to offer this.

The company has been around for a while and is no stranger to the industry so they have a lot of experience in this market. FloLogic CONNECT not only alerts homeowners to potential leaks and problems, but it can also be used to manage your water consumption. Knowing how much water you actually use can be an eyeopener and not only save you money but also conserve water.

Plumbing leak damage creates billions in insurance claims paid each year, increasing insurance premiums for everyone. Additionally, an estimated 12 percent of the water that supplies U.S. houses is wasted on leaks, spilling more than 775 billion gallons of water each year.

The FloLogic System constantly monitors a property’s plumbing supply to catch and stop “virtually all leaks.” A CONNECT-enabled FloLogic System syncs with the FloLogic app through your property’s Wi-Fi signal. The FloLogic CONNECT module also features a room temperature sensor, which can trigger low temp alerts and automatic water shutoffs to proactively prevent frozen pipe damage.

FloLogic’s exclusive EverWatch flow sensing technology allows app users to see water flow events in real-time as small as a pinhole leak, whereas low cost metering-style smart leak detectors can only see the real-time flow in the half-pint to the pint-per-minute range.

FloLogic has remained committed to offering a premium technology to protect property from plumbing leaks since 2000. The new CONNECT platform delivers unmatched leak protection in the smart home category, to the widest variety of properties.

The FloLogic CONNECT module is available on all FloLogic Systems, which are offered in 1-inch, 1.5-inch and 2-inch valves. The CONNECT module is also backward-compatible with all FloLogic Systems that have been installed since 2012. FloLogic Systems can be purchased direct from the FloLogic website or through a plumbing contractor. The FloLogic app is free from the App Store and Google Play Store with no monthly subscription fees.
