Original article published April 7, 2019. Updated April 11, 2019 with four more games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May.

We’re still early in April here but we’ve learned that six ten games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in May, so if you want to bang them out, you still have a few weeks to do so.

The games leaving the service next month are:

  • The Golf Club (added 04/11/2019)
  • Homefront: The Revolution
  • OlliOlli (added 04/11/2019)
  • OlliOlli2: XL Edition
  • Outlast
  • Pumped BMX + (added 04/11/2019)
  • Sheltered
  • Sonic & Knuckles
  • The Swapper (added 04/11/2019)
  • Unmechanical: Extended

Of the games above, I really enjoyed Unmechanical: Extended. It’s a pretty easy game to complete as well and if you get stuck, you can head over to TrueAchievements for a complete walkthrough. Check out the rest below.

The Golf Club

The Golf Club is a next-generation Golf Simulation which offers outstanding gameplay and Gorgeous Visuals. With the ability to Procedurally Generate courses and the depth of social interaction within the game there truly are an unlimited number of golf courses that can be created, shared and played with your friends.

Homefront: The Revolution

Four years into the brutal military occupation, America is on its knees.

Philadelphia – once the birthplace of Independence – has become a ghetto, where surveillance drones and armoured patrols keep the population at heel, crushing any dissent with savage force.

Her once-proud citizens live in a police state, forced to collaborate just to survive, their dreams of freedom long since extinguished.

But in the badlands of the Red Zone, in the bombed out streets and abandoned subways, a Resistance is forming. A guerrilla force, determined to fight for their freedoms despite overwhelming odds and ignite the second American Revolution.

But Freedom always has a price…

Homefront®: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.

A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions – you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight.

But your enemy has the advantage – superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare – ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception – and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

And the single player campaign is just the start – in Co-Op you and your friends can form your own Resistance Cell and become renowned as Heroes of the Revolution

OlliOlli2: XL Edition

The iconic skater is going all green-screen with a stunning new look, plucking you from the street and dropping you squarely in the middle of the big screen’s most bodacious cinematic locations.

The sequel boasts all new Ramps and Epic Hills allowing for monster air and multi-route levels. Further, OlliOlli’s combo system has been expanded thanks to the joy of Manuals, Reverts, Revert-Manuals and Grind-Switching, giving you more control and expression than ever before.

Play with friends in ‘Combo-Rush’, a local-multiplayer mode for 2-4 players. Go head-to-head across 100 different levels, and Combo your way to the top of the scoreboard! NOTICE – Achievement progression is disabled in Combo-Rush. To earn Achievements, skate in Single-player modes!

OlliOlli2: XL Edition introduces the brand-new Free-Skate mode; extended, chilled levels to learn the ropes, nail those Expert tricks, or simply cruise and flow like never before.

Outlast

In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now.

Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.

Pumped BMX +

Pumped BMX + uses the hit game ‘Pumped BMX 2‘ as inspiration – taking everything which made the mobile version so successful and enhancing every aspect of it for console.

Originally developed by one man studio Yeah Us!, Pumped BMX + sees players ride their way through increasingly challenging levels while pulling off crazy and impressive trick combinations. The game lets players choose their rider style and throw down their best stunts whilst racing through more than 500 challenges to reach the top of the leader boards.

Sheltered

Sheltered is a deep and emotional survival & post-apocalyptic disaster management game.

After a global apocalypse, a frightened family find their way to a deserted shelter, where they try to survive. You take on the role of protecting four family members. Their wellbeing and survival is your responsibility. One mistake, one bad decision and a loved one is gone, forever. Sheltered is a world where death is permanent.

Combat claustrophobia, radiation and mental exhaustion as you try to turn the cold and cramped Shelter into a home. And as they cling desperately to life, you must send family members from the scant protection of the shelter, outside into the dangerous, desolate wasteland to scavenge for vital supplies. You’ll come across abandoned towns, roaming factions and feral beasts.

How you handle the many moral choices you’ll encounter could be the difference between the family surviving or dying. It seems a waste to bury a body when the rest of the family is so hungry.
