Ready for more zombies? Fast-paced World War Z now available

Zombies… zombies everywhere! Given pop culture today, it seems like we can’t get away from them. The latest zombie-themed game, World War Z, from Saber Interactive, is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Based on the movie of the same name, which was based on the 2006 World War Z book by Max Brooks, you won’t be facing your typical slow shambling zombies. These zombies are fast-moving and able to attack players as a collective herd or as individuals. Rated M (17+), you can bet it’ll be a bloody experience.

Players will be able to choose from six different classes and have access to “an arsenal of deadly weapons, explosives, turrets and traps.” The four-player co-op campaigns take place in New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo — to name a few. In addition, you can jump into multiplayer mode for some team-based PvPvZ (Players vs Players vs Zombies) action.

The game is now available digitally and at most major retailers on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for US$39.99, as well as on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store for $34.99.
