Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon July 4-11: “The Apple of My Eye”

First off, happy 4th of July if you’re in the states! Here we are with the Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon July 4-11th event. This week you can earn an extra 100 (or 200 with the VIP house) #Forzathon Points — this time in a Retro Supercar of your choosing! This Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon event started today, July 4th, at 7:30 a.m. PT and closes at 7:30 a.m. PT on July 11th. In addition to the new #Forzathon events, there are also a number of new seasonal races (including extra Fortune Island Seasonal races) and PR stunts.

If you haven’t purchased the game yet, you can do so from the button below or play it through the Xbox Game Pass. Speaking of, if you haven’t upgraded to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate yet, there’s still time to upgrade your entire current Xbox Live Gold and/or Game Pass (up to 36 months) for only $1.

Festival Playlist/Summer Season

It’s winter again and, as usual, there are rewards for completing both the Festival Playlist and the Horizon Summer Season. For the Playlist, once you complete 50% over the Summer to Spring seasons, you’ll snag the Bugatti T35 C. Complete 80% of the seasonal objectives, you’ll snag the Legendary I Beat the Stig Tee. As for the Horizon Summer Season, 50% completion will snag you the Legendary Alien Morph Suit while 80% completion — tasks, races, PR Stunts, Season Events, and Trials on Great Britain (not Fortune Island) — will net you the MC12 Forza Edition vehicle.

Check out the complete Challenge list for the #Forzathon July 11-18th event which you’ll have to complete in the order it appears below:

  • Brave New World: Own and drive any Retro Supercar.
  • Pure Class: Have a taste of luxury, speed, and style as you race a Retro Supercar to victory and win 3 Road Racing Series events.
  • All Wool and a Yard Wide: With engineering that was ahead of its time, use your Retro Supercar to earn 3 stars at The Roman Mile Speed Trap.
  • Thing of Beauty: Relish in its magnificence as you drive your Retro Supercar for a total distance of 15 miles (24.1 km).

Daily #Forzathon challenges for this week include:

  • Absolutely Smashing: Earn 3 Wreckage Skills
  • Take the Lead: Closely overtake while racing to earn 2 Great Pass Skills
  • Horticulturist: Earn 3 Landscaping Skills
  • In a Jiffy: Earn 2 Speed Skills
  • Powerslider: Earn 1 Ultimate Drift or E-Drift Skill
  • Brace for Impact: Combine Air and Wreckage Skills to earn 3 Crash Landing Skills

Brave New World

To start, simply purchase or hop into any Retro Supercar and upgrade it as much as you can. This includes cars like the 1981 BMW M1, 1987 Ferrari F40, 1993 McLaren F1, 2003 Porsche Carrera GT, and more. Once you’ve done so, hop in and move on to the next task for the week.

Pure Class

Next, head to a Road Racing Series event, check the Blueprints for short, easy wins, and win three to continue on.

Are You a Wizard?

Head on over to The Roman Mile Speed Trap and blow through it going faster than the seasonal requirement to proceed to the last task.

Thing of Beauty

Finally, cruise around in your Retro Supercar for 15 miles (24.1 km). Once you’ve done so, you’ll complete this week’s weekly #Forzathon challenges, earning your 100 or 200 FP.

Summer #Forzathon July 4-11th Shop

The Summer #Forzathon July 4-11th Shop has also been updated. This week, you can snag the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Forza Edition (say that fast five times) for 625 FP and the Epic 19734 Ford XB Falcon GT for 575 FP. Also up for grabs are the Legendary Classic Race Suit clothing item for 400 FP and the Legendary Karate Master Emote. As usual, you can pick up Wheelspins for 40 FP or Super Wheelspins for 150 FP each (back up from their discounted rates from previous weeks).

Summer Racing Championship

This season brings some new seasonal races as well including the Playground Games Seasonal event. The seasonal races this month are offering up the hard-to-find 1973 Pontiac Trans/Am, hard-to-find 2011 DS 3 Racing, Rare Ferrari 360 CS, Legendary Modern Race Suit Grey, Legendary Classic Race Helmet, Super Wheelspin, and Wheelspin rewards.

NOTE: rewards are based on Solo races unless otherwise noted. 

This season you’ll be tasked with:

  • [The Trial Co-op Championship] History Class: Dirt Racing Series starting at the Astmoor Rally Trail in Classic Rally vehicles, PI 501-600

Fortune Island

In addition to Great Britain seasonal races, there are Fortune Island seasonal races as well. The Fortune Island seasonal races reward you with how well you place against higher skill level opponents. The better you do, the higher the skill level, the better the rewards.

NOTE: rewards are based on Solo races.

This season you’ll be tasked with:

As of a couple of weeks ago, we also have new #Forzathon challenges in LEGO Valley. As with the Fortune Island seasonal races, these challenges reward you with how well you place against higher skill level opponents. The better you do, the higher the skill level, the better the rewards.
