More Samsung Galaxy Note10+ today, this time DisplayMate is awarding the device an A+ rating for its display. This really isn’t a surprise as Samsung has been known for its wonderful smartphone displays. The company does smartphone displays so well that Apple has even sourced them for its own displays. When you’re making displays for the competition, that says something.
The DisplayMate report states, “the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ has a very impressive Top Tier Smartphone Display with close to Text Book Perfect Calibration Accuracy and Performance that is Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect. Based on our extensive Lab Tests and Measurements the Galaxy Note10+ receives a DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award earning DisplayMate’s highest ever Display Performance Grade of A+.”
Earlier today, Samsung announced the Note10+ 5G grabbed the top spot on DxOMark for its front and rear cameras. Now the new flagship smartphone has another jewel to put in its crown, courtesy of DisplayMate.
OLED Display Performance continues to provide major Record-Setting improvements with every new generation. For the Galaxy Note10+, Samsung has concentrated on significantly raising the on-screen Absolute Picture Quality and Absolute Color Accuracy of the OLED display by implementing Precision Factory Display Calibration, moving the overall Galaxy Note10+ display performance up to impressive Record-Setting Outstanding levels with 13 Display Performance Records, including Absolute Color Accuracy at a very impressive 0.4 JNCD that is Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect.
For the Galaxy Note10+, the OLED Hardware Performance has also been significantly improved, for example, with a Record Peak Brightness of 1,308 nits, a 25% Brightness increase in the High Brightness Mode over the Galaxy Note9, providing much higher screen visibility and readability in High Ambient Light.
