HyperX recently announced a Rose Gold edition of their popular Cloud MIX gaming headset. The release also marks a number of major milestones for the company. The gaming division of Kingston Technology has announced shipping milestones for their gaming headsets, keyboards, and memory modules.

“Hyperx continues to exceed our expectations in market share, firmly established as both a leader in PC headsets and a pioneer in the gaming industry. Shipping over 10 million headsets is impressive enough, but given the keyboard and memory milestones, it shows what a powerhouse Hyperx has become in the gaming industry.”

Mark Leathem, general manager, HyperX

In addition to having shipped over 10 million gaming headsets which cover 30 different models, the gaming division has also shipped over one million gaming keyboards and over 65 million HyperX FURY and Predator memory modules.

The HyperX Alloy mechanical gaming keyboards use Cherry MX switches, and we’ve reviewed a few in the past. Their latest release, the Alloy Origins (of which we’ll have a review shortly), has moved away from Cherry MX to proprietary switches.
