How many times have you heard your parent or spouse tell you to stay hydrated? While you might not think so, dehydration can cause headaches and fatigue which, in turn, could affect your gaming. HyperX has a solution for you: the new Cloud2O Hydration Gaming Headset complete with earcup reservoirs you can fill with water or any other drink of your choice.

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

HyperX’s latest gaming headset is a perfect solution for gamers that need a little reminder to “hydrate before they dydrate” (dydrate, this is what happens if you don’t hydrate and someone is a split second quicker than you while playing your favourite game). In addition to giving you the great sound you’ve come to expect from HyperX gaming headsets, each earcup has a reservoir that you can fill with your favourite beverage. With patented swerve technology, a drinking tube will swivel into position, reminding you to drink and stay hydrated during your intense gaming sessions.

The technology has even been incorporated into the HyperX NGENUITY software which allows you to customize hydration reminder intervals and check reservoir levels. Getting too heated? You can even configure NGENUITY to cool you down with a spray of water when you exceed mic input thresholds because you’re raging too hard.

Pricing and availability have yet to be set for this new hydration gaming headset.
