[CES 2024] Lenovo Yoga, IdeaPad, and Tab M11 are now “AI SuperCharged”

Today, at CES® 2024, Lenovo showcased its latest repertoire of new consumer devices: A selection of Yoga AI laptops that supercharge the creative process, a tablet that invites users to play and learn, Lenovo IdeaPad laptops designed for the everyday user, and peripherals for the modern world.

Seeing is believing — The Power and Flexibility of AI: Ushering in a new era, Lenovo’s newest lineup of Microsoft Windows 11 Lenovo Yoga laptops come with Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone. This is an exclusive new software for creators, artists, and anybody looking to harness the power of generative AI in a simple and private way with security in mind. As an imagination spark plug, Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone offers image generation, which transforms text-based descriptions or even sketches into stunning visuals without complex prompts, codes, or setups. Users simply type whatever they want to see, and the system instantly creates a visual representation.

For Lenovo Yoga Pro devices with dedicated GPUs, including up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 4070 Laptop GPU, Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone also comes with Image Training. Image Training is a Lenovo feature that allows users to train a personalized model that is stored locally on the device. With each image or set of images provided, the Lenovo Yoga Pro laptop can learn and create images that match the user’s style and preferences. Those preferring cubism will see it consistently incorporated without needing to describe it, while those preferring pop art will not see cubism in their works. With Image Training, results are a tailored, unique reflection of each user.

Lenovo Yoga at CES 2024

Headlining the new generation of Lenovo Yoga laptops are the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) and the Lenovo Yoga 9i 2- in-1 (14”, 9), the latter of which comes bundled with a Lenovo Smart Pen and Sleeve. Designed for creators with uncompromising standards, both premium laptops are MIL-STD-810H1 rated for durability and are packed with cutting-edge components, including the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors for blazing-fast performance; a physical Lenovo AI Core Chip that powers robust AI functionality; and powerful, rapid charging2 batteries for nonstop creativity.

Maximizing the performance of the Lenovo AI Core and Intel Ultra processors in the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) is Lenovo X Power, a tuning solution powered by machine learning that enhances creative tasks such as 3D rendering and film color correction by allocating processing power to optimize performance, battery life and cooling efficiency. Both models feature a Copilot key, providing faster access to your everyday AI companion. Copilot in Windows 11 harnesses the capabilities of AI to deliver relevant answers, summarize emails, generate images, and more.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) and Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 (14”, 9) are equipped with Lenovo Premium Suite, a collection of productivity tools that help users do more, including studio-grade noise-cancelling microphones that strip background noise from the user’s voice during calls, Dolby Atmos® tuned speakers for complete cinematic immersion, a 5MP IR camera that keeps the user centered in the frame, and an ultra-smooth and comfortable Yoga keyboard with 1.5 mm travel.

A powerful creator laptop with AI acceleration, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) can pack up to an NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with NVIDIA Studio validation, shine with a PureSight Pro Mini-LED 3.2K screen, and boom with six speakers that support enhanced bass. Its flexible counterpart, the Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 (14”, 9) convertible laptop, doubles as a tablet and features a PureSight OLED 2.8K screen with an optional 4K OLED option, a 360-degree rotating soundbar with four Bowers & Wilkins speakers, and a Slim pen bundled with the device that magnetically attaches to the cover.

Rounding out the Lenovo Yoga family are four additional new laptops. For portability, the Lenovo Slim 7i (14”, 9) is a thin and light Intel Evo edition premium laptop powered by Intel Core Ultra Processors and a WUXGA OLED screen. For content creation, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i (14”,9) and Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 (14”,9) are creator laptops equipped with an option of Intel Core Ultra Processors or AMD Ryzen™ 7 8845HS processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with NVIDIA Studio validation, and a PureSight Pro LCD or OLED 3K screen.

For the wow factor, the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i (13″, 9), the world’s first full size dual-screen OLED laptop3, can now be powered by Intel’s new Core Ultra Processors, a PureSight OLED 2.8K screen, and a rotating Bowers & Wilkins soundbar. It can also be equipped with various creativity enhancing software, including Smart Launcher to group commonly used apps to improve efficiency; Enhanced Virtual Keyboard for users to express their personality with skins; AI to beautify handwriting, and more. Finally are the new Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 (16”, 9) and Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 (14”, 9) convertible laptops. Each features a Copilot key, giving creators on the go quick access to tools that complement their creativity.

New Legacy of Technology

The new selection of Lenovo Yoga laptops continues a legacy of thoughtful design and cutting-edge technology, and also marks a new era of responsibility as Lenovo strengthens its commitment to reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. Embracing the ethos of reducing, reusing, and recycling, all new Yoga laptops now use plastic-free packaging and FSC™-certified paper boxes that are responsibly sourced.

In addition, all Yoga laptops now contain recycled aluminum in the chassis and at least 90% PCC plastic is used in the black 45 ~ 100W power adaptor cases. Select Yoga laptops such as the Yoga Book 9i take environmental responsibility one step further with a cover made of 100% recycled aluminum, or the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 that comes in a smartly designed package that transforms into a reusable laptop stand. Both the Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) and Yoga 9i 2-in-1 are Carbon Neutral Certified by TÜV and all Yoga laptops have 50% recycled aluminum in the base cover.

Made for entertainment but designed for learning, the Lenovo Tab M11 tablet is the go-to “me time” device for students, movie connoisseurs, and doodling artists. Equipped with the Lenovo Tab Pen, a handy stylus that delivers an uncompromised writing, drawing and scribbling experience, the tablet comes preloaded with premium software that enhances usability: Nebo to convert handwriting into text, MyScript Calculator 2 to solve equations and functions in real-time, and WPS Office to easily view and edit documents.

The Lenovo Tab M11 can split into two screens for note-taking or drawing while watching videos. It features an immersive reading mode that allows readers to switch between chromatic and mono views, and captivates with a vivid 11-inch FHD screen4 that supports Netflix HD as well as quad-speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.

IdeaPads

The new lineup of Windows 11 Lenovo IdeaPad laptops and convertibles make it even easier to create, produce, and consume content for mainstream users. And with Lenovo AI Engine now built into all Lenovo IdeaPad devices, the user experience is enhanced across power and performance, display, voice, and wireless connectivity.

Lenovo’s Smart Power delivers intelligent power and thermal management to maximize performance while minimizing battery drain and fan noise by actively adapting to changing user habits. Lenovo’s Smart Wireless feature minimizes lag by boosting Wi-Fi connection strength and automatically detecting any connection disruptions, enabling more stable streaming and uninterrupted online sessions.

Featuring up to the latest Intel Core 7 U processors in the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i (15”, 9), Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (16”, 9) and Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (14”, 9) as well as up to AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processors in all AMD models this year’s Lenovo IdeaPad devices are designed to inspire.

The new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i (15”, 9) is the first 15.3-inch 16:10 display form factor in the Lenovo IdeaPad family, giving users even more freedom in how they choose to stay creative on-the-go. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i (15”, 9) keeps working longer with an up to 76WHr Polymer battery with Rapid Charge Boost, is reliability tested to MIL-STD-810H standards1, and comes in optional Violet and Cloud Grey colors, all at a starting weight of just 1.79 kg (3.95lbs).

The new Lenovo IdeaPad 5 and 5i 2-in-1 convertible laptops come in both 16-inch and 14-inch sizes to fully unlock all the potential of portable computing. This year, both display sizes are available with up to an OLED display, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (16”, 9) and Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 (16”, 9) have a 2K OLED display, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (14”, 9) and Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 (14”, 9) contain up to a WUXGA OLED display. All 16:10 OLED displays sport 400 nits of brightness, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, are TÜV Low Blue Light certified, and full touch functionality in both laptop and tablet modes.
