Breaking: Sprint And T-Mobile Close To Merger Agreement

CNBC is reporting that Sprint and T-Mobile are very close to a summer merger. This rumor has been floating around for a few months now with many T-Mobile customers praying this would not happen. The differences in service and customer service between the two companies is night and day. One hopes that Sprint’s cancer wouldn’t be thrown on T-Mobile but it’s looking like we won’t get that lucky. Full CNBC report below.

Sprint Calling On Developers To Create The Next Big App

Sprint is issuing a challenge to developers to bring their app ideas to CITA’s MobileCon in San Jose California and turn those ideas into the real deal. They are dubbing this challenge the Sprint Hackathon and it will be held Friday, Oct. 17-18 at MobileCon. Sprint is throwing in FREE registration to MobileCon including all the keynotes, panel discussions, thought leadership stages, trade show and networking just for registering for the Hackathon.  Looks like there will be categories and prizes for this Hackathon, take a look at the list below.

Rogers And Sprint Bring Connected Cars To Canada

Rogers Communications and Sprint announced a partnership that will allow Sprint to bring in-car “infotainment”, as they refer to it, and telematics to Canadian drivers. The agreement allows auto makers using Sprint Velocity in Canada to use the Rogers wireless network to connect vehicles on the road.

Rant Editorial: HTC One Four Months Later

It has been a little over four months since I sold my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and purchased the HTC One. You can find my thoughts and reasons for this switch over on Android Dissected.  I had some harsh words for Samsung and some sharp criticism for one of their flagship phones. So what is life like now, four months later, with the HTC One? I’ll go over some of my experiences and cover weather or not I am still enjoying the HTC One.
