The new Game Drive for Xbox SSDs will be available later this summer in three capacities starting at $150USD.
The 860 PRO and 860 EVO SSDs are available now in Canada, starting at an MSRP of $179.99CAD and $129.99CAD respectively.
Features include 4K monitor display outputs, DisplayPort output, SSD or HDD storage bays, power delivery, and additional USB ports.
The newly announced products include the new LaCie Rugged Thunderbolt USB-C (pictured) and the new LaCie d2 Thunderbolt 3.
The new MacBook Pro does smoke the competition when it comes to its flash storage. It transfered about 5GB worth of files in just 10 seconds, which translates to 508.9 megabytes per second.
The 512GB Game Drive for Xbox SSD will store around 15 of your favourite games, and has an average read/write speed of 440MB/s.
The SSD uses a unique mounting solution and a proprietary interface, which will prevent MacBook Pro users from upgrading their systems with larger or faster SSD solutions in the future.
