As more people turn to their mobile devices to view video and listen to music, companies are finding new ways to allow them to stream mobile content to their living room television sets and other display screens. Analogix, manufacturer of the SlimPort family of products, has announced the NANO•CONSOLE – a “universal console” that will allow users to display content from their mobile devices to larger screens.

Many of the available options today allow users to wirelessly stream video or audio content. The SlimPort NANO•CONSOLE on the other hand, connects to your mobile device using a SlimPort cable while connecting to your HDMI enabled display allowing your phone or tablet to display content on your TV. Your device can then be controlled using the wireless NANO remote which features your three standard Android menu buttons. Users can also connect Bluetooth devices, such as mice, keyboards, or game controllers, to their phone or tablet essentially turning their mobile device and TV into a computer or mini-game console.

The SlimPort NANO∙CONSOLE will be available for pre-order in March 2015 and will start shipping in Q2 2015.
