This system can detect heat radiating off people, animals or any other object omitting a temperature above absolute zero. The Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor detects this heat, along with movement, and relays said information to a receiver, which then creates an alert to the owner.
With a transmitter range of 100 meters (or approximately 330 feet), and a sensing range of 5-8 meters (16-26 feet), the alarm covers a good chunk of driveway from anywhere in one’s house.
