It’s week 17 and Xur is still around to provide us with some exotics for those collectors out there. Or maybe for those who just want to be able to one-up someone in the Crucible or kick ass when beating Aksis. So where is Xur this week?
Finding Xur for week 17 is actually pretty easy. Remember where he was last week over by the Speaker on the balcony? Well, Xur is in the same general area, but now he’s standing over by the giant doors that we still know nothing about (it’s really bothering me). We probably won’t ever find anything out since the Tower will be blown to pieces come Destiny 2. Anyway, to reach Xur, spawn in at the Tower and head left. Go up and down some stairs and when you reach the end where the corridor opens up more, look to the right and you’ll see Agent of the Nine, Xur Agent of the Nine.
What’s being offered this time is alright, but only if you’re a Titan or Warlock. The exotic weapon of choice is maybe worth getting if you don’t have it already, which I know I don’t so I plan on getting it and taking some Vex, Taken, Cabal, Fallen, and Siva enemies down. Xur is also offering the usual upgrade to your Sparrow, which includes the Plasma Drive, or the Emerald Coin for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis for 1 or 3 Strange Coins, Glass Needles for 3 Strange Coin/3 Mote of Light/1 exotic shard, a Mote of Light for 2 Strange Coins, Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coin and Three of Coins is available for 7 Strange Coin.
