If you’re a parent these days (especially of a teenager) there’s no doubt you’ve heard of sexting. You’ve probably already figured out a lot of today’s texting and social media “lingo” such as LOL (laugh out loud) or IDK (I don’t know), but you’re probably very unaware of the new sexting codes that are being widely used by teenagers to avoid parents “prying eyes”. As a father of five kids myself, one who is seventeen, it’s important for me to stay in the know, not to be intrusive into their privacy but to keep my guard up. Kelly Wallace of CNN has identified twenty-eight sexting codes being used today to help you stay in the loop of today’s teenage slang.
