Stream Music Without Your Smartphone With E3 Wi-Fi Smart Cloud Speaker

Bluetooth speakers which stream music from your smartphone, computer, tablet, or other devices are a dime a dozen these days and range in both sound quality and price. Some have unique features like the ability to charge your device from the speaker, or including an alarm clock. GGMM is taking music streaming one step further as it launches its Kickstarter for the E3 — a Wi-Fi Smart Cloud speaker that doesn’t require a smartphone or other device to stream music from, but rather streams directly from the cloud.

This compact speaker is about the size of an alarm clock and also features Hi-Fi sound, smartphone charging, an alarm clock, and multi-room play capabilities at a very affordable price. The speaker boasts innovative smart cloud music play with the GGMM E Series app, but also allows you to play music through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or AUX connectivity. Multi-room play and left/right channel play also allow you to use multiple E3 speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, or gain bigger sound with one speaker acting as the left channel and another as the right.

The embedded Wi-Fi audio streaming capability lets you access and enjoy music from Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Tidal, and you can also personalize the E3 speaker with six different presets using the GGMM E Series app — compatible with iOS and Android devices — or the favourite button on the top of the speaker. Without the app, users can still play the pre-set cloud music simply by pressing the heart button on E3. The Hi-Fi sound comes courtesy of dual 2.5″ speakers and 3″ bass strength passive radiator and the independent left and right channel cabinet design ensures clear, pure sound.

Other specifications of the E3 speaker include:

  • Channel: 2.0
  • Frequency: 70-20KHz
  • Distortion: ≤ 1%
  • Sensitivity: ≥ 85dB
  • Power Input: 12 V/2A
  • Power Output: 10W
  • Audio Decoder Format: MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, APE
  • Connection: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AUX

GGMM is looking to raise $20,000 by May 5th, with estimated delivery in May as well. With the E3 Early Bird starting at just $79USD, the E3 speaker comes in ice blue, pearl white, and dark gray. There are many other backer options including a personalized speaker, multiple speakers, or speaker and headphone combinations, so there’s bound to be an enticing option to meet your needs.
