Blue iPhone 7 photos surface, still no Space Black

The blue iPhone 7 rumors were swirling around for weeks while other rumors of a Space Black version surfaced underneath them. While all indicators pointed to the blue iPhone 7 being true, many were doubly excited for a possible Space Black version instead. When leaked photos and renders of the blue iPhone 7 came online it was certainly very nice looking but the later renders of the “Space Black” version really outshined the blue version.

Now there are new leaked photos of a blue iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which is a good indicator that the Space Black version we’ve been longing for is likely not going to happen. The photos also show the same Space Grey version that is currently on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus though it does look slightly darker than the current Space Grey.

Other than color, the photos don’t really showcase anything we haven’t already known about the new upcoming iPhone. The dual cameras on the Plus model are evident here and the antenna bands are confirmed to be moved around the edges. Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone September 7th so we’re just days away from the new device’s unveiling.

The latest speculation surrounding Apple’s flagship device is that Apple will have an all-new design and more substantial features in the 2017 iPhone model to celebrate the device’s 10 year anniversary. That of course, remains to be seen. Apple doesn’t have a huge reputation for changing design too drastically but for their 10-year milestone, they could surprise us and equally leave us disappointed.
