The PS4 Pro is slated to be released tomorrow worldwide, which means we do not have very long left before we can get our hot little hands on the upgraded machine. Sony has recently announced which titles will take advantage of the new features of the PS4 Pro at launch.

The enhancements will vary from game to game, but will generally include an upscale from 1080P to a resolution of 4K — which will only work with a 4K compatible monitor/TV of course. Some titles will also utilize HDR (High Dynamic Range) if your display supports it of course. Some titles will even see higher or more stable framerates across the board. The below list of titles are all “forward compatible,” meaning that the developers have added features to their already released games to take advantage of the new hardware on offer.

  • Battlefield 1
  • Bound
  • Battlezone
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
  • Driveclub VR
  • Fallout 4
  • FIFA 17
  • Firewatch
  • Helldrivers
  • Hitman
  • Hustle Kings
  • Infamous: First Light
  • Infamous: Second Son
  • Knack
  • Mafia 3
  • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
  • Mantis Burn Racing
  • NBA 2K17
  • Neon Chrome
  • Paragon
  • Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2017
  • Ratchet & Clank
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • RIGS: Mechanized Combat League
  • Ride 2
  • Rez Infinite
  • Robinson: The Journey
  • SMITE
  • Skyrim: Special Edition
  • Super Stardust Ultra
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
  • The Last of Us: Remastered
  • The Last of Us: Left Behind
  • The Playroom VR
  • The Witness
  • Thumper
  • Tumble
  • Titanfall 2
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
  • VR Worlds
  • Viking Squad
  • World of Tanks
  • XCOM 2

The list is more expansive than I would have originally thought, but it does remain to be seen just how much of a performance boost these titles will achieve, and if it will be worth the extra investment needed to purchase PS4 Pro.

What do you expect to gain out of the extra hardware inside the PS4 Pro? Is the ability to upscale to 4K enough to justify purchasing this console? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.
