Fallout Shelter, Bethesda’s mobile companion game to Fallout 4, has been available on iOS, Android, and the PC for some time now. You can now add the Xbox One to that list as the title will be launching next week as an Xbox Play Anywhere free title for the console and Windows 10.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Fallout Shelter yet (and what Fallout fan hasn’t?), the game puts you in the seat as Overseer of your very own Vault. You are tasked with keeping your Vault running by building and upgrading new rooms and keeping your Dwellers safe
Fallout Shelter thrusts players into the role of Overseer to build their own Vault, manage dwellers, and adventure through Fallout’s iconic wasteland. Since the game’s original launch in 2015, the game has continued to expand and add features, including Crafting, Scrapping, Pets, additional rooms, iconic Fallout 4 characters, and special Dweller customization options. The game’s constantly growing Quest system allows Overseers to send Dwellers out into the Wasteland to abandoned buildings, decrepit Vaults, and mysterious caves to uncover legendary loot and face off against enemies like Radscorpions, Ghouls, and powerful bosses.
As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, Fallout Shelter on the Xbox One and Windows 10 will sync your progress and achievements between the two platforms. In addition, the game has also been adapted to work with the Xbox One controller.
