Where is Xur and what is he selling? August 18th – 20th edition

, ,

With Iron Banner and Trials done, there really isn’t much left to do in Destiny unless you’re still going around searching for exotics or even doing some final raids with friends. Either way, Destiny won’t last much longer without there being anything to do. But, Xur is still here, for the time being, so let’s check and see where he is and what he’s got.

Xur has changed it up and moved from the Tower over to the Reef this weekend, so once you spawn at the Reef, proceed going right down some stairs and after getting to the lower level, head right again and you’ll see Xur chilling on the left-hand side in a location that’s usually closed. The gear that Xur is offering isn’t the best, but out of the three, the Warlocks “The Impossible Man” is going to be your best choice. Weapons aren’t too bad either but go with Bad Juju or MIDA bundle if you have enough Silver Dust and Strange Coins.

This weekend Xur is selling:

  • Legacy Heavy Weapon Engram – 29 Strange Coins
  • The Glasshouse (Helmet) for Titan Class – 13 Strange Coins
  • Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Helmet) for Hunter Class – 13 Strange Coins
  • The Impossible Man (Gauntlets) for Warlock Class – 13 Strange Coins
  • Bad Juju (Pulse Rifle) – 23 Strange Coins
  • MIDA Multi-Tool w/ Special Ops ornament – 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust
  • Zhalo Supercell w/ Not A Toy ornament – 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust

Xur is also offering the usual upgrade to your Sparrow, which includes the Plasma Drive, or the Emerald Coil for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis for 1 or 3 Strange Coins, Glass Needles for 3 Strange Coin/3 Mote of Light/1 exotic shard, a Mote of Light for 2 Strange Coins, Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coin, and Three of Coins is available for 7 Strange Coin.
