It was pretty big news earlier this year when Turn 10 announced a partnership with Porsche for the Forza series of games. It started off with a car pack for Forza Horizon 3 followed by the unveiling of the new 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS during the official E3 Forza Motorsport 7 announcement. Now Turn 10 and Porsche have teamed up with SCUF Gaming to bring Xbox gamers a controller to drool over: the limited edition SCUF FORZA ELITE.
“The SCUF FORZA ELITE features fine attention to detail, hand-built at our facilities in Atlanta where it is geared and tested for performance,” said Duncan Ironmonger, CEO and Co-Founder of SCUF Gaming. “In 2011, we challenged how controllers were built, creating a new market for high performance controllers by adding features to increase hand use and improve gameplay. This new limited edition controller continues that tradition. It’s a tribute to fans of Forza, Porsche, and SCUF. It could not have become a reality without these three premium brands coming together.”
We’ve reviewed a number of SCUF controllers in the past here at Techaeris and they’ve consistently received high review scores. The SCUF FORZA ELITE is inspired by the Forza Motorsport 7 cover car. The controller features a silver Porsche 911 GT2 RS shell design, red and black racing stripes, black carbon fibre accents, an iconic Porsche crest, and real Alcantara leather handles, as well as SCUF’s Elite Precision Thumbsticks, Paddle Control System, and faceted Dpad. The limited edition controller — only 2500 will be available — is also available in a bundle that also ships with a SCUF branded 1/43 scale model of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS and a custom SCUF FORZA ELITE carrying case.
