Where is Xur and what is he selling? September 29th – October 3rd edition

Xur is stopping in just in time this weekend before Bungie pushes Hotfix 1.0.3.1 on October 3rd forcing all players to be booted off the servers. The Hotfix includes a fix for an issue in which players could lose access to the Veteran’s Transmat Effect by deleting characters, as well as an issue in which clan engrams would grant Trials of the Nine and raid rewards at only 10 Power. Also fixed were issues in which players could enter a state where they are continuously killed or unable to resurrect if encounter complete and failure events occurred simultaneously and more. But you’re not hear to read about hotfixes, you’re here for our eternal weekly question: Where is Xur and what is he selling?

So far, Xur has been on planet Nessus and Titan but not Io, which is where you’ll be dropping by today if you’re interested in what Xur has for you. Xur is over by the fast travel point Giant’s Scar and if you can’t find him, open up the directory and look for his green emblem. It’s not hard to miss. The only exotic that may be worth getting is going to be the Transversive Steps for the Warlock class. It’ll come in handy in tight spots during raids or the Crucible. Hunters and Titans can save their shards for another day unless you absolutely need Hallowfire Heart (Titan) or Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves (Hunter). Riskrunner is worth getting too because of the lightning chain effect and return ammo perk.

This weekend Xur is selling:

  • Riskrunner (Submachine Gun) – 29 Legendary Shards
  • Hallowfire Heart (Chest Armor) for Titan Class – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves (Gauntlets) for Hunter Class – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Transversive Steps (Leg Armor) for Warlock Class – 23 Legendary Shards

As always, these exotic items have a power level of 270 (base 265 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level than most, this should help you out.

So, do you guys plan on getting anything from Xur? You’ll have until Tuesday to pick up some stuff this time. Let us know what you grab by leaving your comments down below, or on Google+Twitter, or Facebook.
