Recently Samsung sent over for their Q8C QLED TV to review, which we thought was fantastic! Soon after, the company announced that they were the official QLED TV of the Xbox One X. Samsung and Xbox have been keen to capitalize on that partnership with game tie-ins like the recently released “Samsung QLED Car Pack” for Forza Motorsport 7.

Now that the Xbox One X (our review will be coming soon) is available for purchase, Samsung wants to reiterate their exclusive hold on that “official” moniker. The commercial below showcases the beauty of 4K on Samsung TV’s and was produced by adam&eveDBB.

“The arrival of true 4K UHD gameplay on Xbox One X this Fall gives gamers the perfect reason to upgrade their television,” said Eddie Combs, Vice President of Marketing for Samsung Electronics America. “If gamers are looking for a TV that delivers premium 4K HDR picture quality with industry leading design and smart functionality, then the QLED TV and Xbox One X are an unbeatable 4K gaming combination.”

“Xbox One X will bring true 4K gaming to console players for the first time with 40 percent more power than any other console,” said Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Xbox. “Samsung’s QLED 4K TV is our favorite way to play Xbox One X, and we’re thrilled to join forces with Samsung in the U.S. to deliver immersive 4K gaming experiences to our fans.”

The rise of 4K TV viewing is likely not far off and Samsung wants to be on the frontlines and minds of consumers. If you purchased an Xbox One X, you’re likely thinking about upgrading that 1080p panel sooner than later. We loved what we saw from the Q8C, yes, these TVs aren’t cheap, but they’re going to deliver one of the best gaming experiences you can have on the Xbox One X.
