The Lunchbox magnetic induction amplification speaker streams music without Bluetooth or Wi-Fi

|

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are household features when it comes to wireless speakers these days. While almost all wireless speakers utilize a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection to stream music from your phone, tablet, or computer, MIA Sound is taking wireless streaming to a new level. The Lunchbox magnetic induction amplification speaker lets you simply “lay and play” without the need to pair your phone with the speaker or connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

The Lunchbox is a lightweight, portable speaker designed with simplicity in mind. All you need to do is start a song on your phone and place it on top of the speaker. Once placed on top of the speaker, your music becomes loud enough to fill any room. It simultaneously charges your phone wirelessly while music is playing; eliminating the need for a charging cable. It even has a built in power bank to charge your other devices.

So just how does the Lunchbox stream music from your device without pairing over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? By laying your phone on top of the speaker, it starts playing using magnetic induction which basically “pulls the sound” from your phone into the speaker.

With a speaker output of 4Ω/5W, the Lunchbox speaker also features a 4000mAh battery for up to 13 hours of battery life, a groove that doubles as a kickstand type holder for your phone, a handle, and wireless charging. If your phone doesn’t support wireless charging, the Kickstarter campaign also includes a Micro-USB, USB Type-C, or Lightning Juicebox adapter to add wireless charging to your phone.

Key Features of the Lunchbox include:

  • Magnetic Induction Amplification Technology
  • Wireless Charging
  • Works with ALL phone types (Android, Apple, or Windows)
  • Power bank (4000 mAh power)
  • Portable, Lightweight Design
  • Convenient Carrying Handle (doubles as a phone holder)
  • 13+ hour battery life
  • Integrated USB Charging Port
  • Includes a Juicebox (wireless charging adapter)
  • Auxiliary port
  • Bluetooth capability for those “just in case” moments

With shipping anticipated in March 2018, the Lunchbox currently sits at just over $14,000 funded of its $63,857 all-or-nothing Kickstarter goal. Early bird tiers are still available for $75USD which includes the Lunchbox speaker, an Android Juicebox, and an Apple Juicebox adapter.
