Mega Man 11 coming late 2018 with new hand-drawn 2.5D art

Finally, another refresh of a great nostalgic game character we have all enjoyed over the years. It’ll be the 30th anniversary soon since Mega Man first launched back on the NES on December 17th, 1987. Capcom is celebrating by launching a new Mega Man title, Mega Man 11 — and from the looks of the trailer, it could be a lot of fun. The game will be launching on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC in late 2018, so it could be around the holiday season next year by the time we see this game hit shelves.

With new hand-drawn 2.5D art, this looks a lot nicer than the old 8-bit style we’ve always been used to over the entire Mega Man series. So far, from the trailer, we’ve been shown a bit of gameplay on how Mega Man moves and shoots, along with a few boss battles scenes. Even though it’s not much, we are still shown what the game looks like and how clean the graphics will be. With the game releasing next year, there could be more updates to the graphics and gameplay.

If you already plan on getting Mega Man 11 just by watching the trailer, don’t forget that Capcom recently launched both the Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 on the Xbox and PlayStation 4 platforms and will be out for the Nintendo Switch at some point next year. On top of that, Capcom is also launching the Mega Man X series on each platform as well, but no further details have been provided for a release date or how they will be sold.

What do you guys think about Mega Man 11 along with the other Mega Man additions that Capcom is releasing? Do any of you plan on getting these games with they arrive? Let us know by leaving your comments down below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
