The Dawning has been going on for a few days and if you haven’t started on getting your new gear, you better get to it as this event ends in a couple weeks. In other news revolving around Destiny 2, there’s an annoying glitch for Warlocks which allows them to use their Nova Bomb in Mayhem without really needing to regenerate their special. User DefenderEchoaz over at Reddit explained how it works. If you do plan on trying it out, change your button layout to Bumper Jumper (and use at your own risk as, while an obvious bug could be taken otherwise by Bungie).
While overcharging a grenade, press [the super button]. It should cancel out your charged grenade, and throw a nova bomb. The game does not consider this a casting of nova bomb, and your super energy should remain unchanged. It appears that as long as you are charging a grenade you can throw nova bombs [infinitely].
Last week, Xur was over at the Tower selling new items such as Fated Engrams and Three of Coins. This week Xur is over hanging out at the Rig on Titan. When you select Titan, you’ll see Xur’s emblem. Track him and be on your way to get to him.

WEAPON:Â SUBMACHINE GUN
Riskrunner was one of the first exotics that we got to see when the Destiny 2 beta came out. It’s a fast gun to use, like most submachine guns and great to have if you don’t have it already. The perk Arc Conductor will increase weapon power when you take Arc damage. Plus, when the Arc Conductor perk is active, shots fired will have the chance to become chain lightning and return ammo.
TITAN GEAR: DOOM FANG PAULDRON (GAUNTLETS)
The main perk Horns of Doom will recharge your Shield Throw when you use the Shield Bash melee. Those same melee kills will recharge the Sentinel Shield super ability. It’s a decent item to get if you run around with the Sentinel subclass.
HUNTER GEAR: LUCKY PANTS (LEG ARMOR)
While this exotic item comes from the story mission on Titan, you’ll be able to pick it up from Xur if you don’t have it already. With its Illegally Modded Holster perk, it increases Hand Cannon ready speed and initial accuracy. If you prefer using Hand Cannons in either of your two main weapon slots, definitely add this to your collection.
WARLOCK GEAR: WINGS OF SACRED DAWN (CHEST ARMOR)
Wings of Sacred Dawn is good to have if you use the Dawnblade subclass. Tome of Dawn perk will suspend you in midair letting you aim down sight and kill enemies and every precision kills you get, you stay in the air for the duration of this effect.
As always, these exotic items have a power level of 297 (base 292 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level than most, this should help you out.
