The second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter on Netflix is mere days away and the show has just received the pulp cover treatment. Netflix has released a series of thirteen pulp cover style images for each episode of the upcoming season. Fitting in with Netflix’s focus on women both behind and in front of the camera for its March releases, the covers were designed by thirteen different women.

The covers also give us a look at the episode titles, as well as who wrote and directed each episode. The episode list includes:

  • Episode 201: “AKA Start at the Beginning”
  • Episode 202: “AKA Freak Accident”
  • Episode 203: “AKA Sole Survivor”
  • Episode 204: “AKA God Help the Hobo”
  • Episode 205: “AKA The Octopus”
  • Episode 206: “AKA Facetime”
  • Episode 207: “AKA I Want Your Cray Cray”
  • Episode 208: “AKA Ain’t We Got Fun”
  • Episode 209: “AKA Shark in the Bathtub, Monster in the Bed”
  • Episode 210: “AKA Pork Chop”
  • Episode 211: “AKA Three Lives and Counting”
  • Episode 212: “AKA Pray For My Patsy”
  • Episode 213: “AKA Playland”

Being a comic book based TV series, the cover treatment is not only well deserved but fun to see given the comic industry’s past focus on covers, variant covers, and alternat covers for some of their series. Enough rambling, check out the thirteen covers in the gallery below!

In case you’ve missed our previous coverage of Marvel’s Jessica Jones or have missed the series entirely, here’s the Netflix synopsis of the second season.

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after taking down her tormenter, Kilgrave. Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an incredible returning cast that includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others. Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”), Raelle Tucker (“True Blood”), Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel’s Luke Cage”, “Marvel’s Iron Fist”) and Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel’s Luke Cage”, “Marvel’s Iron Fist”) who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
