FM7 #Forzathon May 1-June 3: It’s “Showtime!”

After last month’s relatively short and easy Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon, we were hoping this month would bring back the monster format with multiple tasks for each challenge. Unfortunately, the next month-long FM7 May #Forzathon simply features a series of four challenges with a single task to complete and score yourself three vehicles and a new driver gear.

This #Forzathon event started at the beginning of the month, May 1st at 10:00 a.m. PT and closes at (presumably) 10:00 am PT on June 3rd. Check out the complete task list and rewards below for the newly added challenges.

  • Big Drink: Complete all Challenges to receive the Fill ‘Er Up Driver Gear
    • Complete a race on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit
  • What a Drag: Complete all Challenges to receive the 2013 Dodge Dart GT Forza Edition
    • Go more than 150mph at Hockenheimring
  • Showtime!: Complete all Challenges to receive the 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport
    • Get a Drift Score of 3,000 in a Single Lap at Maple Valley in the Rain
  • I’m Watchin’ You: Complete all Challenges to receive the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
    • Beat a Rival

NOTE: There have been some issues in the past with challenges that don’t pop all the time and some users have found that quitting the game and restarting it popped the previous challenges. Complete a lap on a Free Play race after completing a Forzathon challenge also may cause it to pop. We’re not sure if this issue has been fixed yet so if you have issues with challenges registering you can always try restarting the game or alternating tasks to get the previously completed task to pop. It does seem that this issue is mostly fixed, although last month I still personally experienced the odd issue with tasks not updating properly. In addition, Turn 10 has added an in-game message stating that it can take up to 48 hours for challenges to register correctly.

Nothing really difficult this month. For the “Big Drink” challenge, select Free Play and set the game type to a timed race on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit with a length of 30 seconds. Start the race in any car and the race will end automatically when the timer runs out, netting you the Fill ‘Er Up Driver Gear. To hit 150mph at Hockenheimring, change the course to Hockenheimring Full Circuit and hop into a P, R, or X class car. You can also set the race length to a minute or so. Once you hit 150mph (241km/h) and the race ends, you should have a shiny new 2013 Dodge Dart GT Forza Edition.

Next, change the game type to circuit race and select the Road Atlanta Full Circuit with the laps to one or two (depending on how many you think you’ll need to win the race). Set the Car Division to Hot Hatch Icons, select a Hot Hatch Icons car and win the race. To assist you with the win, you can reduce the number of Drivatars as well as set the Drivatar Difficulty to New Racer. Once you win the race, you’ll get the 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport. Finally, back out to Rivals and select ForzaRC. By selecting this one, you will earn yourself an additional in-game reward if you’ve registered for ForzaRC (it’s free, so why not?). Select one of the events, beat a rival, and off you go in your new 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

Overall, it shouldn’t take you more than 10 to 15 minutes to complete this month’s Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon challenges.
