The trend continues with another new title joining the service on the day of its release. The Xbox Game Pass June update sees a total of six games being added, including Mega Man Legacy Collection 2Technomancer, and more — including another new release.

The games coming to Xbox Game Pass in June include:

  • Disneyland Adventures
  • Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
  • MotoGP 17
  • Next Up Hero (on the day of release)
  • The Technomancer
  • Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut

As with any title in the program, you can play the full version of these games starting June 1st, with the exception of Next Up Hero which launches sometime in June. As well, you can save on purchasing the full game and/or any applicable DLC for Xbox Game Pass games.

Next Up Hero

NOTE: Next Up Hero joins the Xbox Game Pass on its release date (as of yet unknown).

Inspired by classic games like Zelda: Four Swords and Smash TV, this is a crazy-fast co-op dungeon crawler with unique heroes, epic loot, and tough-as-nails monsters that will kill you. A lot. Every time you die, you leave behind an echo who can be raised by the next hero to fight as AI followers. The more heroes die, the more echoes are raised, and the stronger the community grows and a robust community is needed to take down the most punishing levels in the game. As the saying goes: the harder the level, the greater the loot!

Xbox Game Pass members can look forward to playing Next Up Hero this June, the same day its available digitally on the Microsoft Store. With Next Up Hero, find your favorite Hero, master their attacks, upgrade their skills, and start gearing up before the competition can catch up.

The Technomancer

The Technomancer takes you to Mars, where you live as a mage-warrior. You’re capable of harnessing destructive electrical powers amplified by cybernetic implants. Feared and respected by all, you are on the verge of completing your initiation rite to become a fully-fledged Technomancer.

This action-RPG offers four different combat skill trees focusing on three distinct fighting styles, as well as the potent electrical powers. Of course, brute strength is not suited to every situation. Dynamic conversations play a major part in questing, and your decisions will dramatically alter the story and world. You can also craft equipment, weapons and armor for yourself and any companions you recruit along the way.

Undertake an adventure through forgotten paradises, lost cities under ice, and dystopian shanty towns that sprawl across Mars’ dusty embrace. Will you survive long enough to uncover the truth behind The Technomancer?

Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut

From the Producer of the original Fallout comes Wasteland 2, the sequel to the first-ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG.

The Wasteland’s hellish landscape is waiting for you to make your mark… or die trying. With over 80 hours of gameplay, you will deck out your Desert Ranger squad with the most devastating weaponry this side of the fallout zone, test the limits of your strategy skills, and bring justice to the wasteland.

Features:

  • One Size Does Not Fit All: Don’t feel like finding the key for a door? Pick the lock, bash it down with your boot, or just blow it open!
  • Decision Making… with Consequences: With both short and long term reactivity, your choices ripple outwards, changing the game’s events and forever altering the lives of those in the wasteland.
  • Huge & Customizable: Hundreds of characters. Thousands of variations on your Rangers’ appearance. Over 150 weapons. No two players will have the same experience.

Of course, these are just the base games that are being offered up but if you like it enough you can score 20% off the base game and 10% off DLC while the game is part of the Xbox Game Pass. Stay tuned and we’ll have the list of what’s leaving in May here shortly!
