Fortnite Season 5 is here with new improvements, bug fixes, double pump fixes (finally), a new area, and more! There are all new challenges that allow for players to get more emojis, skins, pickaxes, XP, and V-Bucks.

Things are a little different this season in regards to the challenges. Epic has split up the challenges to allow players who don’t have a Battle Pass to get some free ones done each week. Those who did purchase a Battle Pass will still see the same challenges with some bonus challenges for having the Pass.

Let’s dive right into the challenges! There are still seven of them, but as mentioned above, they’ve been split into two groups each with their own “hard” challenge. Those who do not have the Battle Pass will have to search seven chests while looting or taking out players in Junk Junction. The second challenge is to use three Rift Portals. As for the “hard” challenge, players will need to eliminate three opponents in a single match.

Those players with the Battle Pass will still get the three challenges mentioned above plus four more. In the first challenge, you will need to deal 300 damage to players with either a clinger, stink bomb, or grenades. Up next is to hit golf balls from tee to gree on five different holes. The third challenge is to follow the treasure map that is found in Snobby Shores, and the last challenge is to eliminate three opponents in Shifty Shaft.
