It’s that time again for another edition of “Where is Xur, and what is he selling?” This weekend, August 18-21st, Xur is over at the Giant’s Scar landing zone on Io, so spawn in and make your way towards him. Take a look below to see what exotics Xur is selling this week in Destiny 2.
What is Xur selling this weekend?
- Fated Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- Sunshot (Handcannon) – 29 Legendary Shards
- Lion Rampant (Leg Armor) for Titan Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Orpheus Rig (Leg Armor) for Hunter Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Karnstein Armlets (Gauntlets) for Warlock Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins – 31 Legendary Shards
Weapon: Sunshot
Sunshot is definitely a good hand cannon to have with you if you’re looking to blow some enemies up. The Sunburn perk will fire explosive rounds and highlights targets that take damage from Sunshot. If you’re going to be running PVE, then you should carry this with you, but if you’re looking for a better weapon for PVP, you can pass this round.
Titan Gear: Lion Rampant
The Jumps Jets perk will provide additional aerial maneuverability, so if you like jumping around trying to defeat opponents or other players in PVP, this will work out for you.
Hunter Gear: Orpheus Rig
If you’re one for using your Nightstalker class, you’ll definitely want to get Orpheus Rig leg armor thanks to the Uncanny Arrow perk which provides ability energy for each enemy tethered by Shadowshot anchors.
Warlock Gear: Karnstein Armlets
Warlocks don’t get a lot of gear that’ll beef them up, but Karnstein Armlet gauntlets are here to help, especially if you like to melee people. The Vampire Caress perk helps you regain health, melee, grenade, and class ability when you melee people.
As always, these exotic items have a power level of 305 (base 300 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level, this should help you out.
