Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon October 4-11: “New Sportscar Experimental”

As if we didn’t have enough #Forzathon posts, here’s another that will be added to our weekly lineup going forward! Welcome to the inaugural (well second really, but first for all players) Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon.

Before we begin, #Forzathon has changed pretty dramatically in the latest iteration of the game. Each week, on Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. PT, brings a season change and a new weekly #Forzathon. In addition to that, there are also daily #Forzathon Challenges and hourly #Forzathon Live Challenges. In addition, prizes like cars and credits are no longer handed out but rather you accumulate #Forzathon Points which you can then redeem for vehicles, Wheelspins, and Clothing. Enough #Forzathon for you?

At any rate, here we are! The Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon October 4-11th event gives you a chance to earn an extra 100 #Forzathon Points. This Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon event started today at 7:30 a.m. PT and closes at 7:30 a.m. PT on October 11th.

HOW TO: Change system date in OS X from Terminal

Check out the complete task list below:

  • The Power of Dreams: Own and drive the Japanese supercar that showed the world just what Hondas are capable of, the 1992 Honda NSX-R
  • No Compromise: The NSX-R was built to take on the Ferrari 348. Prove it’s up to the task by reaching 175 mph in your Honda NSX-R ’92
  • First Man, Then Machine: With a design vetted by Ayrton Senna, winning 3 Road Sprint events should be no problem for your Honda NSX-R ’92
  • No Frills Thrills: All luxuries were sacrificed to lighten the Honda NSX-R ’92. Use this to your advantage and earn 10 Air Skills.

Let’s get started! First, head to one of your houses or a Horizon Festival Site and hit up the Autoshow. If you don’t already own it, you can purchase it for 90,000 CR. Next, you’ll want to upgrade it for the Road Sprints and the speed challenge. The Rocket Bunny Upgrade Kit looks pretty sweet and will set you back just over 50,000 CR and get you closer to the top of the A class. Rocket Bunny or not, you can auto-upgrade to S1, which will get you an 898 rated car for 38,900. For just over 40,000 you can upgrade it to S2 but that only gets you a 909 rating so it’s better to stick with S1. Once you’ve done that, hop in it and take it for a spin to complete the first Challenge.

Once that’s done, hit the streets and get your NSX-R up to 175 mph (282 km/h) to complete the second Challenge. The best place to do this is on the highway that starts down in Astmoor in the SE area of the map. Easy peasy…

Next, head to your map, filter out everything except Road Race events and win 3 of the Sprints (not Circuits). If you’re having trouble winning, turn the Drivatars down to Inexperienced and you’ll be good to go.

Once that’s done, head over to the beach to the east of Bamburgh Castle and get 10 Air Skills by hopping over the dunes and you’ll have completed the weekly #Forzathon events and get your 100 #Forzathon Points.

So just what can you pick up at the Autumn #Forzathon Shop this week? First up is the A Class 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Forza Edition for 300 FP. Also available is the 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast, an S1 Class car, for 200 FP. For clothing, you can snag the rare Sports-Luxe Trainers. Finally, for you horn lovers out there, you can grab the common Arooga 2 horn. As always, Wheelspins can be purchased for 10 FP and Super Wheelspins for 150 FP each.
