Even though Motorola has been selling the Moto G6 for about seven months now, the next installments of the G series from Lenovo/Moto are starting to show up on the internet. Thanks to some leaked photos, we now have a better image as to what we could be seeing with the Motorola G7.

Even with both devices being similar in design with that “waterdrop” notch and chin that reminds me of the Galaxy S9/9+, the internals will be different.  For the G7, you’re looking at a 6-inch Full HD+ resolution with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The G7 Plus will sport a 6.4-inch screen with the same resolution and aspect ratio. The back of both devices will have the same circular ring with a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel/5-megapixel sensor while the front-facing camera will have a 12-megapixel sensor. Underneath that is the “M” Moto logo which could indicate a fingerprint scanner.

The Moto G7 could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB RAM and the Moto G7 Plus could come with either the Snapdragon 670 or 710 SoC with 6GB RAM. Internal storage for the G7 might be at 64GB, but can be expanded up to 256GB with a MicroSD card. As for the G7 Plus, the internal storage could start at 128GB, but no details as to if it could be expandable. Expect there to be a USB Type-C port for charging, with a 3,500mAh battery for the G7 and something with a similar battery range for the G7 Plus.

Given that these are leaks and nothing more, we all should take this with a grain or salt until Lenovo/Moto provides us with a press event for the two new devices at some point next year.
