[UPDATED] Tactical Master gaming headset inspired by aviation headset design

While most gaming headsets follow a similar design, there are a few new headsets released lately that are based on pilot headset designs instead. The Tactical Master from James Donkey is one of the latest to follow this trend and is now on Kickstarter — fully funded, by the way — offering up 7.1 virtual surround sound and comfort at an affordable price.

The pilot inspired design offers up longer-term comfort than traditional gaming headset designs with its ergonomic design and light weight, weighing only 278g. In addition, with its 53mm drivers and 7.1 virtual surround sound, the Tactical Master gaming headset provides a wider soundstage for gamers.

The ergonomic design of the TM runs through its look and structure. The 15-degree tilt between the headset and the auricle offers perfect comfort; while the earmuffs can be adjusted according to the size of the face, which is more suitable for long-term wear.

UPDATE (01/04/2019): We received an update with regards to the product. Unfortunately, the compatibility initially listed on the Kickstarter page wasn’t entirely accurate.

We mentioned on our pitch and campaign page that the Tactical Master would be compatible with iPhones with a Type A to Lighting adapter. In theory, it should be working, however, it actually doesn’t. Facts are that, this kind of adapter is actually rare on the market. So our statement might have been misleading.

Secondly, Tactical Master will not support Xbox devices which include both the console and the controllers.

Just to let you know that we will post a an update on Kickstarter to let all the backers about this.
