Moshi is known for its simple but sleek looking tech accessories. The company has announced that it is expanding its USB-C audio collection with the Mythro C in-ear headphones and Avanti C on-ear headset.
“Working with Apple and Google on USB-C projects over the past few years has given us an engineering headstart when it comes to USB-C audio. Now that major phone makers like Apple, Google, Samsung and others are completely removing the headphone jack, it’s only a matter of time before USB-C headphones become commonplace.”
Spencer Pangborn, Director of Product Marketing at Moshi
Both headsets are equipped with a DAC, offering high-resolution audio. While the Mythro C feature 9mm neoodymium drivers in a lightweight aluminum housing, the Avanti C offers is powered by 40mm neodymium drivers. The Avanti C also features a rotatable stainless steel headband and angled earcups.
The Mythro C in-ear USB-C headphones are available today on moshi.com for US$50. The Avanti C on-ear USB-C headset will be released in late February with an MSRP of US$200.
