Apple’s AirPods have been available since December 2016 and there have been many alternatives since. The first wave of competition wasn’t all that great as many true wireless headphones suffered from connectivity and battery issues. Most of the major brands waited to release their alternatives to Apple AirPods, which was a wise move.

Now it’s 2019 and the alternatives to Apple AirPods are larger than ever. Throughout 2018 we saw the major brands starting to release their true wireless headphones but most of those were costly. Now, costs have come down and the technology has improved. While there are still many true wireless headphones that cost the same or more than Apple’s offering, these are the 3 affordable true wireless alternatives to Apple AirPods.

The following 3 alternatives to Apple AirPods were all recently reviewed by our writers and all of them cost around US$50 which is US$109 less than Apple’s AirPods.
