The Stealth Labs Speaker Backpack has a 12L capacity and houses dual “Hi-Fi” Bluetooth speakers while remaining relatively light.

The Stealth Labs Speaker Backpack isn’t the first backpack on the block with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. There have been other companies that have done the same. But Stealth Labs believes it has a better and lighter product priced right for Kickstarter at US$119.

The Stealth Labs Speaker Backpack has a 12L capacity and houses dual “Hi-Fi” Bluetooth speakers while remaining relatively light. We have an early production unit in-house for review and I can confirm that it is lighter than I expected. Here’s a rundown of the features and specifications of this unique backpack:

  • Water-resistant
  • Lightweight at only 5 lbs
  • Nylon exterior
  • 5-6 hour playtime
  • 5,000mAh battery
  • Dual Hi-Fi speakers
  • EVA Foam shell
  • Built-in phone charging cable (USB Type-C and Lightning)
  • Secret stash pocket
  • Extra comfort straps
  • Anti-theft zippers and hidden pockets

The speakers are on the bottom.

You can use the built-in 5,000mAh battery to charge your iPhone or USB Type-C Android phone. There is also a USB-A cable that is directly connected to the backpack to recharge the pack. The cable is fairly long so leaning it against the wall and plugging it in with your phone brick is no problem. You can also plug it into any computer to recharge.

There’s also plenty of room for your laptop and other everyday needs in the 12L compartment. The EVA foam shell adds protection for your valuables inside as does the water-resistant exterior.

Gifts for Her

The Indiegogo for the Stealth Labs Speaker Backpack has already raised half of its US$15,000 goal with 30 days to go. It looks like this one will get fully funded. After the campaign is over, the backpack will retail for US$199 so picking it up now will get you 40% off. We will have our full review soon.

As with any crowdfunding campaign, there is a risk supporting them. We’ve recently heard about several that we’ve written about that have failed or are having issues. Our reporting on crowdfunding campaigns does not mean we support or are affiliated with them. Support at your own risk.
