Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon May 16-23: “The Stuff of Legend”

|
, ,

Here we are with the Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon May 16-23rd event. As usual, you can earn an extra 100 (or 200 with the VIP house) #Forzathon Points, this time in Classic Sports Cars! This Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon event started today, May 16th, at 7:30 a.m. PT and closes at 7:30 a.m. PT on May 23rd. In addition to the new #Forzathon events, there are also a number of new seasonal races (including extra Fortune Island Seasonal races) and PR stunts.

In case you were unaware, there was a bug last week that wiped Car Mastery points. The fix is now out and the first time you log in, you should see a message showing you how many Car Mastery points you have been refunded — if you were affected by the bug. In my case, it was 2,132. You’ll want to re-spend these on your favourite cars as, if you have more than 999, you won’t be able to earn any more until you’ve brought your banked Car Mastery points below that. On a positive note, that means you’ll get those Wheelspins again, as well be able to top out your 50 Car Masteries for the Forza Hub points if you haven’t already done so. In addition, you’ll snag 10 Super Wheelspins for the inconvenience.

Forza Horizon 4 has been out for some time now with its updated #Forzathon format. Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios have also made it easier to track the weekly events with the new Festival Playlist. Also, don’t forget about the new Achievements, many of which are #Forzathon related.

Festival Playlist/Autumn Season

It’s autumn again — at least in the game — and there are new rewards for completing both the Festival Playlist and the Horizon Autumn Season. For the Playlist, once you complete 50% over the next four seasons, you’ll snag the Quartz Regalia. Complete 80% of the seasonal objectives, you’ll snag the Bone Shaker. As for the Horizon Autumn Season, 50% completion will snag you the 2008 MC12 Corsa while 80% (reduced from 100% in a recent patch) completion — tasks, races, PR Stunts, Season Events, and Trials on Great Britain (not Fortune Island) — will net you the Peugeot 205 Forza Edition car.

  • Never Gonna Give You Up: Show that you’re made of sterner stuff by winning a Road Racing Series event at The Colossus in your Classic Sports Car.

Daily #Forzathon challenges for this week include:

  • Slip n’ Slide: Win a Cross Country Circuit event
  • Drift Machine: Earn 3 stars in total from Drift Zones
  • Wheat From the Chaff: Earn 3 Awesome Skill Chains
  • Crowd Pleaser: Combine Drift and Pass Skills to earn 1 Showoff Skill
  • British Bulldog: Earn 3 AWesome Wreckage Skills
  • Witness Me: Win a Dirt Trail event

Grand Old Duke

To start, simply purchase any Classic Sports Car if you don’t already own one. This includes vehicles like the 1958 Austin-Healey Sprite MKI, 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo, 1960 Chevrolet Corvette, 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432, and more. You might want to upgrade it to the top of its class, or another class, for the next challenges. Once you’ve done so, hop in and move on to the next task for the week.

Spirited Driving

Head over to your favourite Speed Zones and get 9 stars total… hopefully, it only takes you three perfect runs. Once you’ve earned nine stars, you’ll be ready for the next task.

Never Gonna Give You Up

You’ll need to head down to the Colossus for this one. If you haven’t unlocked it yet, you may be able to check the Blueprints and select a Road Racing one to complete this event. Either way, you’ll need to win this one to proceed.

Victory Lane

Head over to the airfield or dunes and rack up those Skill Score points. Once you’ve hit a combined 250,000, you’ll complete this week’s weekly #Forzathon challenges, earning your 100 or 200 FP.

Autumn #Forzathon Shop

The Autumn #Forzathon Shop has also been updated. This week, you can snag the Legendary 1966 Ford #2 GT40 MK II Le Mans for 650 FP and the Rare 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven for 625 FP. Also up for grabs are the Rare Autumn Beanie Hat and Autumn Mittens clothing items. As usual, you can pick up Wheelspins for 35 FP or Super Wheelspins for 135 FP each (down 5 and 15 FP respectively from previous weeks).
