With the Gears 5 Early Access a month away, Xbox has announced the availability of the Xbox One X Gears 5 Limited Edition Bundle and other themed accessories for the game.
First up, the Xbox One Gears 5 Limited Edition Bundle retails for US$499 and was designed by the Xbox Industrial Design Team and The Coalition. With a dark translucent casing, the limited edition Xbox One X features laser-etched cracks and snow drifting over the Locust symbol.
This bundle features the limited edition Xbox One X, the Xbox Wireless Controller – Kait Diaz Limited Edition, a full-game download of Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, a full-game download of Gears of War Ultimate Edition, full-game downloads of Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War 4 (note that Gears 5 and Gears of War 4 are both Xbox Play Anywhere titles, meaning they are yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC), and 1-month memberships to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold along with in-game Ice Kait and the Ice Jack Character Skins.
You can pre-order the console from the Microsoft Store and other retailers starting today.
Next up, the Gears 5 Limited Edition Kait Diaz Xbox Wireless Controller will set you back US$74.99. Available on August 20 and available for pre-order, the controller has a snow weathered design with a rubberized diamond grip. The controller also features button mapping and Bluetooth technology, allowing you to use it with your Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and mobile devices. Also included is an Ice Kait Character Skin which can be used in-game once it launches.
Razer has two accessories for the upcoming launch: the Razer Thresher – Gears 5 Edition and the Razer Turret for Xbox One – Gears 5 Edition. Both will be available in September with the Razer Turret mouse and keyboard combo retailing for US$299.99. More details on both, including pricing for the Razer Thresher will be coming soon.
Finally, Seagate is back with another custom Gears of War hard drive. The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox Gears 5 Special Edition. With 2TB of storage, the Seagate Game Drive comes with a Lancer weapon skin, Supply Drops for use in Gears 5, and a 1-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to play Gears 5 in early access four days early before its September 10 launch. If you’d like even more space, Gamestop will be carrying a 5TB version as well. The 2TB drive will retail for US$99.99 while the 5TB drive will retail for $149.99.
