As has happened in the past with Forza games, Forza Motorsport 6 is nearing EOL (end of life) and will no longer be available for purchase after September 15th.
Related to the above, Forza Motorsport 6 will enter “End of Life” status on September 15. This means that the game and its associated add-on content (including car packs and expansions) will no longer be available for purchase. Players who own Forza 6 before that date will still be able to download and play the game and its associated add-on content as normal but the game and add-on content will no longer be available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Even though the Forza Motorsport 6 is a few years old, that’s an insanely decent price for the amount of content you get. If you’ve been on the fence about the game, or have been waiting to pick it up, now’s your best (and last) chance to do so.
While there hasn’t been a new Forza Motorsport game announced as of yet, it’s only a matter of time as Turn 10 has also stopped working on further development of Forza Motorsport 7. There’s almost no doubt that Forza Motorsport 8 will be a Project Scarlet release title, likely with Xbox One compatibility.
