House of Marley targets the under US$100 market with its new Positive Vibration XL headphones

House of Marley is one of the more unique headphone brands out on the market and they make some awesome stuff. They just recently announced the new Exodus ANC and the Liberate Air and now they’re busting out a new pair of cans. The Positive Vibration XL is the company’s new under US$100 headphones that look pretty awesome.

The Positive Vibration series of headphones finally gets its first over-ear offering, which we’re sure many will appreciate. The company says the new headphones offer a more premium listening experience along with better comfort. Just looking at those earpads and headband, it seems like comfort was a key design thought.

As with all of House of Marley products, these headphones place a huge emphasis on sustainability. The company does its hardest to source all of its materials, down to the packaging, from sustainable materials.

FSC certified woods including Sapele, maple and beech are integrated into the earcups while the headband is lined with REWIND fabric, consciously designed using a signature blend of organic cotton, reclaimed hemp and recycled plastic bottles. The headphone’s modern and cleaner frame extends to the backing of the foam earcups for a sustainable construction built to last longer and avoid excessive use of virgin plastics.

“Giving the Positive Vibration 2 Wireless a sleek facelift and feature improvements we have been able to offer a more premium listening experience within a distinctive design for those looking to make the most of their money within the USD100 over-ear headphone category – and we’re doing it with responsibly sourced materials,” explains House of Marley Director of Product Development, Josh Poulsen. “Our sustainably-minded customers have made the PV series a fan favorite for its stylish design, comfort, value, and portability. We are excited to offer a step up in the collection with the XL edition.”
