Between December 4th and 24th, Samsung will match all donations made by Canadians up to $100,000 in total. However, the company will also donate an extra $10 for each review left on Samsung’s website during December.
“We are proud to once again partner with the SickKids Foundation to raise funds that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of so many Canadians and their families,” says Jihoon Lee, President and CEO, Samsung Canada. “Thank you to everyone who generously donates and supports the cause this holiday season.”
Ryan Reynolds has returned to support the campaign as well. This year, he enlisted Toronto Maple Leafs’ all-star Auston Matthews and Canadian crooner Michael Bublé with “a hysterical holiday message to remind Canadians that on top of being magical gifts from heaven, children can be ‘challenging’, but it’s hard for kids to be ‘themselves’ when they’re sick. Which is why it’s so important to donate, so ‘kids can get back to being themselves… which, you know, is kind of a lot.'”
