Twitter Post Hints At Six Upcoming Windows Phone Devices

With Microsoft’s latest job reduction and restructuring of the company and the domination of Android and iOS in the mobile market, the future of Windows Phone is somewhat up in the air. But according to a Twitter conversation between Evan Blass (@evleaks) and another user, Blass claims he knows that at least six more Windows Phone devices are coming. This could be evidence that Microsoft isn’t yet ready to throw in the towel on Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile.

Blass has often been correct in the leaks he has posted and it was even revealed that many companies work with Blass to facilitate those leaks. So his accuracy in information usually falls on the believable side more than it does not.

We’ve reviewed several Windows Phone devices here and we’ve come away always impressed with the hardware and software of these devices. If indeed Blass is correct and Microsoft is forging forward with Windows 10 Mobile and the hardware to run it on, then that’s only a good thing. Keeping Windows in the mobile space is good for competition and innovation, we need that third operating system in there to keep Android and iOS on their toes. We’re hoping Windows 10 Mobile brings some stiff competition into the mobile space and that Microsoft is able to market their wares successfully.

What do you think of six more possible Windows Phone models coming in the future? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
