Incipio Rumored Galaxy Note 5 Battery Case With microSD Slot

Android / Mobile / Tech

First off we want to thank our tipsters and emails we’ve been getting these past few weeks, some of them are good enough to publish, others not so much. We’ve already touched on what’s rumored to be new with the Galaxy Note 5 S Pen now we have a tip/rumor that case maker Incipio will be making a Galaxy Note 5 battery case some users may want to buy.

Nothing is official at the moment concerning the specs on the Galaxy Note 5 but we do have some first hand rumors of what to expect. First off, don’t expect a microSD card slot on the Note 5. The new design kind of puts a squash on having a microSD card slot with that slick back, if it’s anything like the Galaxy S6. Also the rumored battery spec on the Note 5 is 3000 mAh which is a drop down from the Note 4 size of 3220 mAh’s. While the 3000 mAh isn’t confirmed by an actual announcement, most hands on have confirmed this to be true.

This is where Incipio comes in with their Galaxy Note 5 battery case with microSD card slot. This will give Galaxy Note 5 users extended battery life to their devices as well as expanded storage. The rumored extended battery size is the same as Incipio’s current Galaxy S6 battery case, 3700 mAh. And the microSD card slot will take up to a 128GB microSD card.

If the rumor is true and knowing that Incipio already makes a case for the S6 with these specs, this is going to be a must have for some Note 5 users. Keep an eye on Incipio, I bet they release it on their website just before or during the Note 5 announcement.
