Receive A $50 Discount On The Apple Watch When You Purchase A New iPhone

Just about everyone knows Apple isn’t the biggest fan of running promotions on their products. They’ll run the occasional “back to school” and “Black Friday” promotions that, in my opinion, aren’t really promotions, they just take x amount of dollars off of Macbooks or iPhones or iPods. Though the last time I paid any attention to those promotions was five years ago when I needed a new laptop.

Apple may be changing the way they offer discounts now by offering $50 off the Apple Watch when you buy a new iPhone. When I say a new iPhone, I don’t just mean the iPhone 6s/6s Plus. As long as you purchase a new iPhone with an Apple Watch at the same time (one transaction), the discount pops up. As for which Apple Watch, only the regular Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport are eligible. Those that were hoping the Apple Watch Edition and the Hermes Watch were discounted are out of luck. Plus side is you are not required to get AppleCare+, add ons, or accessories.

The promo is in store only and only at select Apple Store locations in California (Bay Area: Burlingame, Chestnut Street, Corte Madera, Hillsdale, San Fran, and Stonestown) and Massachusetts (Boston metro area: Boylston Street, Burlington, CambridgeSide and Chestnut Hill). Having it in two states is helpful to those living in those areas, but unfair to those living in other states that would like to take up this offer. This will be a limited time offer running from October 30th through November 15th and has been confirmed by MacRumors.

If any of you live in either the Bay Area in California or the Boston metro area in Massachusetts, do you plan on stopping at the nearest participating Apple store to take up this deal? Let us know by leaving your comments down below, or on Google +, Facebook, or Twitter.
