If you’re in need of a kidney, you might just be able to procure one for the low price of an iPhone 6s! Two men in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province of China were planning on selling a kidney each to be able to afford the new iPhone 6s. The two men, named Wu and Huang, devised the brilliant plan and decided to contact an illegal agent who deals in black market human organs.
The two then found an illegal agent on the Internet who asked them to take medical examinations in a hospital in Nanjing. However, when they arrived on Sept 12, the agent didn’t appear as scheduled.
After calming down later that day, Wu reconsidered selling his organ. He told his friend to stop the plan but Huang wouldn’t listen. Wu then called the police but Huang ran away and has been out of reach ever since.
The iPhone is a lot of things to a lot of people but really, it’s not worth your kidney. It’s not even worth your gallbladder and no one even needs that! It might be worth your hair but that’s even a stretch. Seriously, the world has gone wonky when people are willing to sell body parts for gadgets. I don’t know about you but I like my kidney’s just where they are.
