FH3-Forzathon-January-26

This FH3 #Forzathon event started today, January 26th, at 12:01 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 pm PT on February 1st.

It’s time to celebrate Ford’s “Heritage of Speed” in the weekly Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon event. The FH3 #Forzathon January 26 – February 1st event gives you a chance to pick up the 2017 Ford GT HE (Horizon Edition) alongside the usual Credits, XP, and Wheelspins. In case you missed the update a couple weeks ago, it’s also playable in 4K 30fps glory after the recent Xbox One X Enhanced patch for all you Xbox One X owners out there.

This FH3 #Forzathon event started today, January 26th, at 12:01 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 pm PT on February 1st so you have until the wee hours of February 2nd (depending on your time zone) in order to complete the challenges.

Check out the complete task list and rewards below:

  • Competitive Legacy: Win a Championship in the Ford MKII GT40 to receive the 2017 Ford GT HE
  • Racing History: Complete a Race in a Ford to earn 55,000 XP and 55,000 CR
  • Off the Line: Perform 30 Burnout Skills to receive 35,000 CR
  • High-Performance Endurance: Play 3 Playground Games in the 2017 Ford GT HE to win 3 Wheelspins

First off, if you don’t have the Ford MKII GT40 already, you’re going to have to shell out some Credits (3,300,000 to be exact) to pick it up. Once you’ve done so, start up a new Championship with three races and make sure you set enough laps for each to ensure you win. Once you finish the first race, you should get credit for the “Racing History” challenge. Once you finish the third, assuming you won the overall Championship, you’ll also pick up your shiny new 2017 Ford GT Horizon Edition vehicle.

Burnout skills are pretty easy, just hold the brake and hit the gas from a full stop and spin those tires. Rinse and repeat 30 times to get some extra credits. Finally, you’ll have to go online to get those Wheelspins this week after you’ve won the 2017 Ford GT HE. To make it easier, select “Games only” and make sure the class is set to the same class as the Ford GT.
