Do you have an Xbox One and have some free time this weekend? Well, you may want to listen up for just a minute. Microsoft is letting anyone with an Xbox One play Rainbow Six Siege and NBA 2K18 for free during its Free Play Days For All (no Xbox Live Gold subscription required) weekend with an emphasis on multiplayer gaming. As Microsoft puts it:

Calling all friends to participate in our Free Play Days For All event! For four days only, play with friends and gamers worldwide for free on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. For even more fun, play NBA 2K18 and Rainbow Six Siege for FREE this weekend only. Boot up your console, tag your friends, and get gaming.

The event kicked off at 00:01 am PST this morning and will run through Sunday, February 18th. The event will end at 11:59 p.m. that evening (that’s Pacific Standard Time). The nice thing is that the event isn’t just for the Xbox Oneir?source=bk&t=techaeris 20&bm id=default&l=ktl&linkId=b97484837904508907fbe47a7f2b7c10& cb=1518725121843/One X. If you’re still rocking an Xbox 360 you’ll also be able to take advantage of the Free Play Days weekend.

It seem’s like the perfect weekend to spend some time with friends playing multiplayer games in light of yesterday’s holiday. Bungie got on board with Destiny 2 and its Crimson Days event. So the emphasis is on gathering your favorite people and having a good time.

As mentioned above, an Xbox Live Gold subscription isn’t required but it should be noted that Microsoft is currently pushing a buy three months (for $24.99) and get three months free. So if you haven’t picked it up, or ever tried it out, now may be the perfect opportunity.

In addition, if Rainbow Six Siege and NBA 2K18 aren’t your thing, you can also hit up Overwatch during its free weekend on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC instead. The Overwatch Free Weekend starts tomorrow, February 16th at 11 a.m. PT and ends on Monday, February 19th at 11:59 p.m. PT.
